What is the life balance template?

Discover the key areas of your life that are thriving and the ones that may need a little more attention with this simple and insightful tool.

We all juggle multiple aspects of life—career, relationships, personal well-being, finances, and more.

Sometimes, it’s easy to get lost in the busyness of it all and forget to check in with ourselves. This tool will help you assess and visualise how balanced your life is right now, guiding you to areas where you may want to focus more energy, and celebrate what’s going well!

Key areas of your life to take into consideration

  • Career & Business: How are you feeling about your professional life, growth, and development?

  • Personal Growth & Learning: Are you actively developing new skills or growing as a person?

  • Physical & Mental Well-being: How is your health and your emotional state?

  • Relationships: Whether it’s love, family, or friendships, how fulfilling are your connections with others?

  • Financial Health: Are you feeling secure in your finances, income, and future?

  • Fun & Adventure: How much joy, play, and excitement are you experiencing?

  • Purpose & Contribution: Do you feel like you’re living your purpose and making a difference?

  • Environment: Is your home and living space a sanctuary that supports you?

How to use the template

  • Select 8 Key Areas Choose the 8 most important aspects of your life right now, including personal, professional, or relational areas.

  • Group or Separate Areas Combine related areas (e.g., “Career” and “Business”) or break larger categories into smaller ones as needed.

  • Write Areas Outside the Circle Place each area outside the circle template. These are the segments you’ll rate and reflect on.

  • Reflect & Rate Satisfaction Rate each area from 1–10 based on your gut feeling. How satisfied are you with each aspect of your life?

  • Score with Color Colour in each segment based on your rating. A fully filled segment means a 10/10!

  • What Would It Take to Get to 10? Consider what actions could make each area a 10. Write down your thoughts and steps you can take to improve.

By taking a moment to reflect on each aspect of your life and how satisfied you feel, you gain clarity on where you’re thriving and where you may need to make adjustments. Use this tool regularly to monitor your progress, track your growth, and ensure that every area of your life is receiving the attention it deserves.
